Dad Bod Builders is a family-owned, local construction company specializing in kitchen, bath, and deck remodels and repair. Derrick has nearly 20 years of experience working in the construction industry, and his fascination with figuring out how things work goes all the way back to childhood. His hobbies are creative in nature - from woodworking to blacksmithing to repurposing materials.
It wouldn’t be Dad Bod Builders without a “dad”. Derrick has a wonderful daughter who lights up every room she enters. Ask about their new dog, Buddy!
No matter the job title or project, service is at the core of Derrick’s work. Before Dad Bod Builders, Derrick worked in juvenile probation. He continues this service by employing at-risk youth in his workshop during the summer months and teaches trade skills, professionalism, and respect.
Dad Bod Builders serves Chapel Hill, Burlington, Mebane and surrounding areas. We are now scheduling projects for February and March 2025!
